My Life in Homoeopathy
I have twenty-four year’s experience in homoeopathic practice having started my training in the 1970’s with Dr. Thomas Maughan and then at The College of Homoeopathy in London graduating in 1983.
As well as maintaining a busy clinic, I founded the highly regarded North West College of Homoeopathy in 1984 drawing on previous experiences as a lecturer in adult education to establish a successful college.
My background includes an Economics degree from Owens College, Manchester University, lecturing for eight years at the then Thames Polytechnic in Greenwich, London.
Leaving economics I founded The Kidbrook House Yoga School in Blackheath, London and directed this with great success for ten years. During this time I also worked with Yoga Therapy using all the eight limbs of yoga and including as part of this the biochemic tissue salt therapeutics of Dr. Schuessler. Although I found Yoga Therapy effective with most patients there remained some more seriously ill clients who responded only to Homoeopathy on referral, this led me on to the study Homoeopathy.
During my years in London my interest in esoteric studies deepened and I became a Companion of The Druid Order. From 1973 to 1983 I attended meditation groups, study groups and other activities in The Order. My esoteric studies includes the classical Hindu texts, the Chakra system from both the Eastern and Western teachings, Zen Macrobiotics, the Qaballa and, of course, the principles and practice of yoga.
I have published a popular textbook of Homoeopathy as well as several shorter books. In the 1970’s I contributed articles regularly to a leading Yoga journal of the time and in recent years contributed to leading journals of Homoeopathy
